Test Footage Shot

Well, I  shot test footage with my Husband as the subject as I have not cast yet.  One of the critiques I got in the Midterm review was to make my camera angles more interesting.  I found that fascinating, considering I purposely kept everything simple since I've never done a project like this before and I tend to go way over the top.  But one of the panelist knew my visual style so she knew I could do more.  And when I shot the test footage I have to confess it looks pretty hum drum.  So I will go back and add a little spark, but not too much.  Doing all this with real sets is one thing.  Virtual sets???? We shall see.  I guess I'll shoot some test.

I also coordinated shooting test footage with the DP,  so I have to set that up and get some actors for that.   I have work to do!!

DP Secured

I've confirmed Parrish Smith as DP.  Parrish is great and we've worked together for years.  His background is film which is great so we will be able to measure camera angels and placement very accurately.   He's been working with the AGX200 for years and excels with what he can do.  God willing this will be a great collaboration.  He has a great eye and is doing a lot of green screen right now on his own sight Swea TV.

Sky Captain Work Flow

I love this film. Over 20 years ago I was told that one day actors would act in front of blue screen alone. I was an actress then and I said never. Well, neer say never.
